Argentinean Sylvestris

Sylvestris is native to Argentina and is often called Woodland Tobacco. It's a vigorous plant growing up to 5 ft. with large 20" leaves and sweet scented long drooping white flowers. 

It's grown mainly for bloom and botanical interest rather than as a standard bright-leaf or Burley crop, as it's not strictly a smoking variety but rather one of the wild parents behind cultivated Nicotiana tabacum

Its unusual smell and flavour makes it suitable for blending cigarette tobacco. This is a very attractive and fragrant plant that should be planted in every flower garden.
